What Are Numbers?

Numbers are the building blocks of mathematics. They represent quantities, values, or positions in a sequence. Numbers are used in everyday life for counting, measuring, and solving problems. For example, counting apples or measuring the length of a table involves numbers.

Types of Numbers

Numbers can be categorized into different types based on their properties:
- Natural Numbers: Counting numbers starting from 1 (e.g., 1, 2, 3, ...).
- Whole Numbers: Natural numbers including zero (e.g., 0, 1, 2, 3, ...).
